So, really, no more than a minor cut on your finger will bleed.
There is a rare condition though called a Septate Hymen where inside of the extra skin being around the circumferance of the vaginal opening, the extra skin is a strip down the middle actually creating two entrances to the vagina. Sex aside, just use of a tampon in a female with this situation can be painful or it can get stuck or really tear and rip the hymen away so now its a strip of flesh hanging by one end and that can bleed more, but shouldn't continue on forever. If you suspect something like this, you should go to see the Dr to have them remove the remainder of it. The locally numb the area , snip and girls who've had the minor surgery done have no pain or bleeeding afterwards from reports I've read. If your Hyman was not in place, meaning it was ruptured by other means such as Tampon usage or fingering, then the bleeding may not be normal.
Since none of us are doctors and we cannot examine you over the web in any case. It is best if the bleeding has not stopped,is not your period, by the third day that you see a doctor. If you are over 14 a Federal law called HIPPA allows for you to do so without parental knowledge or permission. Parents cannot be told why you sought medical advice for any question or treatment relating to your reproductive system.
You may see any doctor you wish to or visit any woman's clinic or planned parenthood center. If you are over 14 you should be allowed to carry your health insurance card. This is all you will need to be treated by any doctor other than the doctors you usually visit. The women's clinics will most likely see you at no charge if you can't pay and don't have an insurance card. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]
