Hi there! This is a very interesting question. I looked up possible things that may cause this, and I know why your dog is wailing. It is just a very irritating sound and your dog just can't seem to get used to it. Plus, daschund breeds react to things more than other dog breeds. The coincidence is my neighbor has a daschund named bella and she does the EXACT SAME THING!!! Your dog doesn't have any trauma and it's just a natural dog instinct. I promise you you dog is okay and if you need anymore advice, just ask because I know all about animals.
