I tend to use the straightening mist if I just want to kind of straight I want to stay that way. It's not great on humidity. I like the Garneir fructuise or however you spell that flat iron perfecter. It's relatively inexpensive. It helps to use a good leave Im conditioner first if you want it really smooth and straight. If you want more humidity control use a syrum. These can be more expensive but found in most beauty supply stores. That you want to put on when your hair is damp and use it right then. There will be steam, but don't freak out.it might be a little shinier with the sryum. (I don't know how to spell that I hope you know what I mean >.<). Finish off with a little hair spray sprayed on the brush, this keeps it smooth after you comb it through. If you have something funky going on go ahead and spray that on your head. Take your time straightening and always brush after you straighten that particular piece. Hope I helped [ whythehellnot's advice column | Ask whythehellnot A Question ]
