HELP ASAP: How to Stop This?!

Question Posted Monday May 12 2014, 4:21 pm

I was in school and we were watching a video and that "high pitch sound" in my ear came. My mind all of a sudden started focusing on it, and it hurt really bad. I even had to go home. How can I stop this from happening tomorrow? Please help ASAP. It's still going on right now too. I'm trying to get my mind off it but i can't.

There is a name for this high pitched sound in your ear, it is called Tinnitus. It may be present because of an ear infection or it could be a perforation in your eardrum(there are a host of things that could be causing it)but whatever is causing it you need to see a doctor right away. If it is really hurting badly you could even ask your parents to take you to the ER. This is something you really need to get checked out. There is no way you can stop it on your own without seeing a doctor to find out why it is happening. I hope you get well soon!
