i am a 13 year old male and i want to become a christian i have been going to church and praying to god and i feel good after praying talking to him about my problems i have started reading the bible
what else can i do to get closer to god?

I'd suggest when reading the Bible, read a chapter like in Proverbs and write something you learned from it. It makes you feel closer and you still learn something.
Besides talking to him about your problems, just talk to him about life and everything you're grateful for. That doesn't just help you get closer to him, but also makes you realize all the small things you are grateful for.
