What does this pregnancy dream mean?

Question Posted Saturday September 21 2013, 3:32 pm

I had a dream that I was pregnant. The dream went onto the first week and until I gave birth. I remember being in the hospital bed and the nurse handed me my baby girl. She was the cutest thing ever! Then I heard a guy's sweet voice say "Ally?" I turned to my right and caught a glimpse of a guy with light skin, jet black hair that was kind of short, greenish brown eyes, and a nice smile. I feel I've seen him in my dreams before.

What does this mean?

Hi! I'm not a dream interpreter, but I know a website that is great for helping people understand dreams and interpret their dreams. It's called www.dreammoods.com. I go on this website when I'm trying to figure out what my dreams mean.

I looked up your dream on that website, and this is what I found:

Dreams about pregnancy often mean that a part of yourself or your life is developing. Dreams about pregnancy can sometimes mean you're worried about taking up new responsibilities, but if you're hoping to get pregnant someday, it may be a wish fulfillment dream.

You also mentioned that the dream continued until you gave birth. Birth dreams symbolize a new attitude and a fresh start, as well as giving birth to a new idea or goal.

The boy in the dream might represent feelings you may have for a boy in the waking world.
