If you're over the age of 35, smoking tobacco increases your risk of stroke or heart attack while on birth control. I'm 20 and I smoke but as far as I know, everything except my lungs are okay. Make sure to read all the information that comes with your pills. That'll answer most of your questions. As far as weed goes, I'm pretty sure that won't affect anything.
