i feel he knows me very well and ive asked guys before if why they like me and i never end up staying with them maybe thats why ?

Dating is pretty much a learning experience. You learn what you like and what you don't like in guys.
Although, I'm really not sure how asking why they like you has anything to do with why you never ended up staying with them.

I think if he knows you very well, and enjoys spending time around you, he has plenty of reasons why he likes you.
