Twelve year old girl , who pooped a lot of blood in toilet .

My daughter pooped a lot of blood in the toilet , my daughter said the water was like red , she does not have her period yet , and she's still not twelve but will be this year , what might be the cause of this ? And how can I help cure it ? Is it serious ?

Sorry I am late answering. I have been moving and they only just got my internet back on.

Anytime there is blood in the stool you should have a doctor make sure all is well. It could have been a hemorrhoid. It may have simply been a hard dry stool. I would take her to a doctor who can ask her the appropriate questions to find out the problem.
