I want to reduce my weight in 8 or 12 months. now my weight is 73 kg and my height 5'2. i think my ideal weight is 50-60 kg. so i have to reduce 20 kg. i decided to do stationary biking for 1 hr and walking for 1/2 hr. i love cycling, how long should i do that to reduce that much weight. will stationary bike really help me in this? please help me..

Maybe give some free advice about: Fitness? santos answered Monday May 27 2013, 4:13 pm: really help you but i want to give you other advise.you are right according your height weight should be 50 to 55 as health chart.so you have to work out 2 hours daily in gym or cycling and other exercise .but with exercise you have to take up proper diet [i mean food]and healthy food.such as you have to leave fast food ,junk food ,non-veg and other .but take simple food like bread and green vegitables ,juise curd ,salad in lunch and dinner both and take minimum 8 glass water daily .you can reduce your weight by dance and swimming ,dance is also the good weight reducer .so try god bless you for this task [ santos's advice column | Ask santos A Question ]
