Does getting a tattoo behind your ear hurt? I want to get a tiny, little heart back there or an arrow pointing up as if it's saying to keep my head up. See, I have a very low pain tolerance and that's why I'm worried, I also do not like needles because I was on a medicine that made me get blood drawn six times and I hated it but I never passed out or anything because of that. I've always been that good girl that never broke the rules. I'm in college and I really want to do something like this. Thanks!

I personally have a high pain tolerance and am not afraid of needles so I wasn't too bothered getting my tattoos on my feet or forearm. From what I've been told by others, tattoos behind the ears are mild in pain. But this also comes back to what your personal pain tolerance is.
Low pain tolerance and afraid of needles could be a problem. You don't want to freak out in the middle of your tattoo and be left with a half down job or a messed up job. Make sure you REALLY want this and it's not just a rebelling thing from always being the "good girl". [ KlutzyKim's advice column | Ask KlutzyKim A Question ]
