Why are my arms and heads achey? Severe fatigue

Question Posted Thursday May 9 2013, 3:23 pm

Today is Thursday. On Monday I got a belly piercing for my 18th birthday. Idk if that has anything to do with it, but all day today I've been feeling extreme fatigue and both my arms have severe aching. If my arms didnt ache so much idk if I'd feel tired.. The a achiness started in my bicep areas and then spread throughout my arms and hands. My hands feel numb. I am a healthy 18 year old girl and I haven't lifted weights or done push-ups in a week. But I have been doing daily squats this week.. I usually stretch my arms out in front of me while doing my daily 100 squats. Could this be the cause? Could my piercing have anything to do with it? I researched this problem and so many sites said MS and arthritis. I am nervous. Help

I'm 18...idk if its relevant, but I guess if we're the same age we'd have the same problem?

I do squats daily to tone up, and yes my arms feel like led afterwards despite warming up/cooling down.

As for the belly button piercing-did you go to a professional? The only worse thing that can happen from that is it becomes swollen and infected-easily sorted out by your doctor.

Also consider have you ever injured your neck whilst doing exercise? This is a main cause of numb hands. I think because of your age its more likely to be something like raynauds, diabetes or carpel tunnel syndrome rather than things like arthiritis or MS.

My dad has diabetes and CTS, and he copes fine with medication.

But I'm not a doctor. So I think you should see one. I know you're likely to fear the worst-and sometimes it's best not to know right? But from experience, its better to be safe-whatever it is there's help out there.

Also consider any changes in your diet. A lot of coffee consumption (caffine) can cause dehydradtion and therefore fatigue.

I reckon you should leave it until Monday-so it's been a week-and then if it's still their by the end of the day and your symptoms have got worse or stayed the same, book a doctors appointment. Ignore what the web says, almost any symptom you type in will come back with some form of cancer or whatever. It sounds like an exercise injury.

Good luck!
