I have a problem.My problem is there is this guy name james,and I'm not sure if I like him.When ever I'm in class ,I always glance his ways,sometimes he staring at me.I'm curious he still mad because on valentine's day I decided to play a prank so I sent a gram to a girl name julie, she sits by him,anyway is says"will you be my girlfriend ,love james"ever since I sent that ,we just stopped talking,well we have a small conversation.I dont know what to do,because I'm not those girls that believe in love (I'm 12 yrs old and a girl)

Well, I don't know you so I can't really tell how you are feeling about this boy.
If you do think you might have a crush on him, try being his friend first.
He's probably staring at you because you caused him embarrassment.
So you could start talking to him more often and try being his friend and see what happens from there. You can apologize to him about the prank and say you'd like to be friends. And once you start being his friend, you'll see how he really is and see if you still like him.

I'd say your prank embarrassed him and he didn't like it. If you have an interest in him, start talking to him. I don't understand why so many 12 year olds happy birthday blessings dont know how to hold a conversation face to face unless its because you got so used to growing up with computers, emailing texting facebook that you dont know how to talk to someone any more. You just approach him when theres no others around to hear. and say "Hi James. First I want to apologize for my Valentines prank. I would like to be your friend. I am not sure I am ready or interested enough to like you enough to be a girfriend...just a friend for now. I'll treat you like one of my girl friends and you can treat me like one of the guys if thats okay with you?" Or choose something else to say to start conversation but you will need to learn eventually how to talk to a guy, apparently your mom and dad talk to each other, other couples talk to each other. How did they get there. They just started even though its scary for the first minute or two. If you can enjoy conversation with a guy, then you can discover what things you have in common to do together. This is one of the important parts of a relationship besides sex. Start the friendship first with the guys and you will know which one you want to go to the next stage on.
