The easiest way to find out if you are pregnant is buying one of those pregnancy tests. I think you already know that. You just don't want to hear the answer if it's positive. But ignoring it doesnt make it go away. Go to Planned Parenthood. The name is just a name. There are just as many people who end up seeing them because of unplanned pregnancy.

Skipping or forgetting to take your contraceptive pill can affect the effectiveness of protection. In cases like that, run to the pharmacist and ask for the morning after pill. It can be bought over the counter. Ask your pharmacist about side effects as there are some.
If you can't remember to stay regular on the pill and want a more carefree sex life with a regular sex partner, you might want to ask you gynecologist about and IUD, Intra Uterine device they place inside you that is very effective against preventing pregnancy. I used one without any problems. Again, there can be side effects, so check with your doctor.
