Dear Twice in one month,
Thank you for asking my a personal question.
Any chemical that upsets the hormonal balance in your body could have side effects. I recommend staying away from those pills. There are other forms of birth control that you and your partner can use that do not effect the hormones in your body. If you see a side effect from a pill like this, then there is damage to your system going on that you cannot see.
KandiiKane says "Anything that can disrupt the delicate hormonal dance that produces ovulation can lead to either skipped periods or periods that come too often."
From what I have read online, it sounds like the pill you took has done this to your body. I read several stories of women who took this pill and had two periods every time.
I would not worry about being pregnant until your next period comes around. If you are really worried about it, wait two weeks and get a pregnancy test. It takes a little bit of time for the extra hormones to show up on tests. If you use a test right now, not only could you get a false positive/negative, you would be wasting your money for another one in a few weeks to check again.
Stress can cause a hormone imbalance too. Worrying about being pregnant could cause you to have all of the signs of being pregnant. I know people that it has happened to, including myself.
So relax, do not sweat it and you will find out soon enough if you are pregnant.
Good Luck!!
P.S. If you are pregnant and need advice, let me know. There are laws that protect you and the unborn baby from any harmful choices that your parents might try to make as a result of your age. ]
