more thing, what did you mean exactly by this statemne"maybe she can grasp that her mom is "learning her lesson" and may start to second guess punishing her daughter when she may not have really done anything wrong. That way she might see her sentencing as more of a learning experience for her mom, rather than a bad thing that she should tease her about. Does that help?

I was just saying that maybe that way she will think that her moms jail time will help her mom realize what it feels like to be punished and maybe be easier on her daughter in the future because of it.
