if she keeps quiet about it it would be better for her since she wouldn't have to deal with publicity and the hassle of investigation. Also, the police probably won't devote that much time to some silly thing like this they bigger problems to deal with. No way would I spend years in prison if I get caught (considering I am taking every step possible to make sure there are no evidences or witnesses, it is unlikely), there are people who commit serious crimes who don't spend that much time

She's your teacher, a role model for people. She's not dumb enough to keep that to herself. If she's married, she will definitely tell him too and they he will go talk to someone.

The police will devote their time to this. Whenever there is a student teacher relationship going on, there is definitely police checking everything out. Don't think this is something so trivial. It's illegal.
