Friend Zone?
I'm a junior in high school and I like a sophomore. We've been friends for a while now. He's very shy and awkward. I recently told him I liked him and he said he liked his ex still. Things were fine between us, then I asked him to go to prom with me and he said yes. I asked him if he wanted to go just as friends. He talks to me a lot and tries to flirt with me. Do you think he really might like me? Or am I just stuck in the friend zone?

I don't think you're friend zoned. I think he might be into you at least a little bit because he did say yes to going to prom with you.
How long ago did you tell him you liked him? If it wasn't too long ago, just give it some time because he's still getting over his ex. If it was awhile, see how he acts with you and see if it looks like he's into you. Eventually, if he does like you, he will tell you or ask you out or something or you could start flirting with him a little and see how he reacts.

I think he likes you jus to shy 2 tell youbecause he went to prom with you and tries to flirt with you should try to make the first move but make sure you really like him and this is not jus a crush so if it don't work out it wasn't for nothin good luck hope I helped
