Hi, we have been together for 3 years and we live together. he's a single father and in his late 40's.
as he's a quiet and laid back sort of person sometimes i find it hard to read him. when we argue i tell him, i don't feel loved by you, i feel ignored and he goes and says, yes i do love you even though i don't show it much, as he's not a showy person. is he telling the truth? thanks.

The way I see it, if he treats you right and is willing to go the extra mile on his own for you... There really isn't a problem. A very wise person once told me " If you ask them 'What do you love about me' and they actually answer with a reason then they don't because love is a feeling not an object, it cannot be described."
My definition of love is giving someone the power to destroy you but trusting them enough not to.
Just think about this... If you left, how badly would he be effected. That should give you an answer. [ MoRuthless's advice column | Ask MoRuthless A Question ]

Guys have a different way of showing their affection then females do. However, I tend to be the not-so-showy type. I'm sure if he didn't want to be with you, he would have broken up with you. Stop worrying. :-) [ iloveyaxo's advice column | Ask iloveyaxo A Question ]
