TheAnnie answered Sunday February 17 2013, 10:56 pm: Take deep breaths. I get the same way. I start freaking out. What works for me is first, I stop studying right before the exam to take time to calm down. For example, if i need to brush up on a few things I will, but stop an hour before the exam to take a walk. Take deep breaths, slow deep breaths. And be confident! If you're ready you KNOW you'll do your best and that all you can ask for. Tell yourself you can do it because you studied and you're ready. Before the test, take some more deep breaths. (Also I find it better to not listen to people talking about facts before an exam because it throws me off my game. Like if I see someone studying something I don't remember. It freaks me out so I've stopped paying attention to it). Also! Have a piece of chocolate! Studies have shown having something sweet before a test gives you better results. I don't know if it's true, but how can you deny that? Haha. Good luck! I know you'll do great :) [ TheAnnie's advice column | Ask TheAnnie A Question ]
