can foam rollers damage hair ?

i want my hair to grow longer and healthy . my hair is kinda straight but not really ? so i figured i can use foam/sponge rollers so i dont damage it ! if i use them like evey day will that be bad for my hair ?

They don't damage your hair. However, you have to be careful because if you roll your hair too tight against the scalp it will cause your hair to be pulled. Not very comfortable, if you ask me. Over all it's a safe method. Braiding you hair or twisting it before you sleep is another method. It's also much more comfortable to sleep in.
