I'm always like that, too. I think it's because you're scared of making a bad impression on his friends.
Look at it this way; if he's willing to bring you around his friends, it means that he either a) knows that they'll like you, or b) doesn't care about what they think. Regardless, I think your behavior is normal and you don't need to do anything about it!

Well, it sounds like his friends are who you are shy about. Try to get to know them a little. Jump in on a conversation here and there, and slowly you'll start feeling less shy when around them.

Your only like that because you love him. Most every girl is like that when they like someone, they get shy. I think you should start easy like txting him or calling dont pressure yourself.
