Hello Advicenators!I honestly have wave wanted to die for a while now.I am a 13 year old female and have cut myself almost everyday scince I was 11.I feel like I'm not worth thr very air that I breath. It hurts sometimes how bad it feels to be here even now.I cannot do this. I need a friend.
melissa123 answered Tuesday January 15 2013, 5:10 pm: you are deff. worth the air. God brought you here for a reason, right? & why would you cut your body? for what? that's going to do nothing, but hurt! imagine if you were gone, imagine if you died. imagine what your family would be going through, and your friends! NEVER seeing you again! i dont think you want that. everyone has a purpose living. & your only 13! instead of cutting yourself, try to find things that are fun and exciting. try to find hobbies. maybe try out some sports or something. & when your at school try to make good decisions and make some good friends!:) & your family is your closest friends!
i hope this helped, at least a little.
if you have any questions, feel free to message me!
kittenlover2000 answered Tuesday January 15 2013, 3:09 pm: Hello,
Well whilst none of us on here can give you an official medical diagnosis, it does sound like you have some of the characteristis of depression.
Firstly you need to talk to someone who is qualified to help you. Even if dragging your feet to the doctors feels like the last thing you wanna do, you need to do it.
Depression is an illness that the sufferer in no way caused, and, crucially, can only recover from with proffesional help.
There is help out there-its just about motivation to get it. I'll be honest and say I had a bout of anxiety a year ago, and I felt no one was there. But to get better, it has to come from within you. You have to find within yourself that one reason to get better, that final bout of energy that you cling on to, because with that mindset, you will. Trauma answered Tuesday January 15 2013, 3:12 am: I'm sorry you're going though all that, and you are definitely worth the air that you breath. I'm sure you're used to hearing this advice often, but the best thing you can do right now is talk to someone. Talk to your parents, a school counselor, or consider visiting a therapist.
I've been depressed before, and seeing a therapist helped me a lot. They don't try to force you to take any medication, and they can attempt to help you figure out what's causing your feelings, and how to better deal with them. [ Trauma's advice column | Ask Trauma A Question ]
