Capitalisation issue: I need help understanding this lesson

Question Posted Tuesday January 8 2013, 11:00 am

Hi all! Hope somebody here can help asap!

I'm doing a report on arousal and just need to know if each condition is capitalised
E.G.
Heart Rate was found higher in Exercise rather than Relaxation.

Also is "Post Hoc" capitalised?
E.G.
"After doing Post Hoc tests we found that..."

Additional info, added Tuesday January 8 2013, 11:08 am:
Also! I have a sig. result of .05 do I write this as:
p<.05 or p=.05?
.

I sure wish I could be more helpful than this, but....

Post hoc in the sentence you wrote would be

"After doing post hoc tests we found that..."

I think the conditions don't need to be capitalized. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm saying most likely not. Don't take my word on that.

As for your sig. result, I don't quite understand. What does p represent for .05 to be either greater than or equal to?

Oh balls. You've probably already turned this assignment in. How about you inbox me and show me how to figure out this sig. result question anyway, because now I'm really curious as to how you figure this question.
Seriously. I want to know how to figure that question, now. LOL
