How about a stand-up comedy routine? A sharp and witty monologue, your observations about talent shows (nerves...choosing what to do...bit of self-parody etc). Just a thought...

Hey sweetie!
Well, what do you like to do?
If you're interested in playing an instrument, dancing, or even singing-- go for it!
Talent shows are all about showing talent!
It wouldn't be fun unless you were doing what you enjoy!
Have fun! Don't stress!
Pick something that you like and everyone will remember you for your braveness-- it's extremely hard for others to get on stage!
Have fun!
