There is this cute that I always pass on my way to my 9:00 am class. I either pass him on the way there or the way back. Basically, all we accomplished was eye contact, haha. I want to talk to him but I'm the type of person that won't talk to someone unless there is a reason. I think it's weird, and it'd make me feel uncomfortable if he didn't seem enthused, for me to go up to someone that I do not know and just say "hey, I'm ___!" So, I was thinking of ways to kinda get a friendship going before Christmas. I usually see him by himself and he sometimes takes dinner back to his room to eat while he studies but tonight I saw him with a guy friend having dinner. So, he either has a girlfriend at another school or no girlfriend because he isn't with girls a lot here. Don't be brutal but be honest in telling me if you think this is weird or not. I was going to catch up with him tomorrow on my way to class and tell him that my roommate thinks he is cute and I was wondering if I could get his number for her. When I get his number and get back to my room, I was going to text him that by roommate, I meant me. I don't know if that'd be weird to some guys or if they'd like it. Just help me out, please don't tell me to go up and just introduce myself because this entire thing is basically me telling you that I can't do that hence creative ideas.
I'd like to get at least a friendship going before the 19th of December because that starts Christmas break and our break is 5 weeks long and I don't know if I could go that whole time without talking to him. Plus, our schedule changes after break so I wouldn't be able to catch him on the way to class anymore.
