Being 15 and worrying about school life and peer pressure, I often just go home and when its just me and my older sister at home I daydream or think about my life as an adult. I have it set out that im going to be a successful person and have money, I've looked at colleges and steps to get there. Then I start thinking of what it would be like to be a housewife someday after I've finished working. I just want to live the dream..don't we all? Sometimes I'll tune out or write songs about it, basically making sure it one day happens. I want it all but I'm afraid of the fall...I don't want to have struggles in life I want it to be perfect but I know that's definately not the case. Basically thinking like this, having pro crushes, and just dreaming keeps me calm when my life right now is really stressful and full of drama and anxiety...so am I crazy, ambitious, delusional, or it it all wishful thinking?
While you are dreaming about what life will be like as an adult you can start making, written, notes in a diary or a note book of some of the things you really see yourself doing. Such as career choices.
At 15 it is almost time to start focusing in on some of the life choices you need to makes. Such as what careers you may want to have as an adult. What academics you need to have to in order to make these choices a reality. In high school you have an opportunity to take elective courses to prepare you for the colleges that offer the academic selections that will allow you to follow your career choice(s).
So no you are not crazy; you are a normal teenage girl doing what many of your peers are doing. Many of your friends are doing this though it is something not spoken about for the reason you wrote of. Fear of being seen as crazy.
This is also about the right time to start talking with your parents about your concerns for the future. Things such as what colleges they con afford to send you to. What they feel you need to do to get into a college of your choice. Remember colleges look for a well rounded individual. After school activities are just as important on your college application as your academic achievements. This is where your parents can be the most helpful to you in helping you get to your dream career. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]
