How do I unblock Facebook on my home computer?

Question Posted Wednesday November 21 2012, 2:15 am

A year ago, I blocked Facebook so that I could focus more on school, but I really want to get back on just to keep in touch with people. I installed Facebook Limiter, and that's why I can't get onto Facebook anymore. The program wouldn't let me uninstall, so I deleted all of its folders, but I am still blocked from Facebook. What can I do?

Trying to look stuff up since I've never heard of this particular program. Seems like people are able to get around it by using different web browsers so you could try downloading a new one like Chrome or Firefox.
Normally, you'd want to open the program and there is a button that blocks it, but you deleted it so that might no longer be possible. Deleting program files is generally a bad idea, you want to use the build it uninstaller or the Windows one. You could try downloading the app from their site again, opening it, and seeing if you can disable the lock from within.
