16 year old boyfriend who lives in another state...

Question Posted Saturday November 17 2012, 10:10 pm

I'm a 13 year old girl and have a 16 year old boyfriend. He lives in Illinois, and i live in Georgia. I met him through a friend. He started texting her, and then she stopped texting him and she asked me if I wanted his number so i said ya, and we texted and we "going out/boy friend & girl friend." We sext back and forth,(im just messing with him & he starts it.)So my question is, is he serious about our relationship?
P.S. I don't want to just ask him straight up.
