Lettting someone know you like them back

Okay, I'm 17/fI know this is similar to alot of questions on here but-how do I let this guy in my class know I like them after he said he likes me?
I'm kinda shy, so any advice apart from talking please.

start talking to him first and see if you guys really click, who knows, once you get to know him and he gets to know you he might ask you out. It might not be something that happens overnight but if you really like him then it will be worth it.

You could just tell him "Hey, I just wanted you to know that I like you too". Text it if you're shy.
