What should I do if my dad hates my boyfriend I care alot about?

Trauma answered Monday October 22 2012, 7:00 pm: Sit down with your dad and ask him why he hates your boyfriend. Sometimes parents can see things that we can't when we're in a relationship. Try to figure out if your dad's reasons for not liking your boyfriend are justified, or if he's just being overprotective. If it turns out to be the latter, explain to him how his opinion is very important to you, but you really care about your boyfriend and don't want there to be any issues with you dating him.
