Please help me! I need to get out of my home? Where can I go?
I really need to leave. I can't live here much longer. My mom makes me want to commit suicide every single day but I'm stronger than that and have too much of a will to live and make something of myself.
I can't do anything right in her eyes. All I am to her is a leech. She screams at me all the time calling me worthless and nothing but a selfish child. All she talks about is money money money and how if I can't make her any money than I need to get out. She doesn't care about me at all she just wants more money.
I've been trying day and night to get a job ever since I graduated (June 9th) but I live in a small town in Florida and nobody is hiring. She won't help me at all yet she says all she helps me too much. She's walked around with me when going store to store asking if they hire and she's seen that nobody is hiring yet she calls me worthless and piece of crap for not being able to find a job and that she's in debt (only by 3,000) because of me and how much she hates me. If I get a job she said she's going to demand my paycheck from me.
She keeps saying everything is my fault and that all I do is make excuses for everything. But it's not my fault the economy is the way it is and that the few jobs that are hiring have an average of 300 people competing for every single one.
She refuses to help me with saving money so I can go to college and she won't even help me buy a license so I can legally drive (though I do know how to). I could take out a loan but I can't just walk into a loan office and ask for money so I can go to college and dorm somewhere so I can get out. I need some sort of help and I don't know where to go. Nobody in my family seems interested in me at all. My dad didn't even call me on my birthday he just wrote something on my fb wall. That's how disinterested my family is.
I'm not even a bad kid. I was an honors student who's never gotten in trouble with anything. I've never drank never smoked never had sex. All the guys I meet say I'm an amazing person yet my mom hates me and my family won't help me.
Please where can I go to get onto my feet?!
There has to be some sort of center that helps graduates like me who don't have anywhere to go and need help.

At your age it may be a bit difficult. Have you considered asking to stay with a friend? One that understands the situation you are in? I know this doesn't sound wonderful, but there are also shelters. Also, you could always consider joining the military or one of it's branches. You don't have to be active duty, but you will at least be able to get out every so often, as well as get some money, and have something to get your own place. No, it is not your fault the economy has fallen to this state, and if anything, your mother should realize, that she did NOT have to keep you after you were born, but she did, and that it is her responsibility as a parent to care and love her child(ren). To be honest, she should be proud of her child. Being as well behaved and intelligent as you are. Even if some family don't seem interested, you never know. Try talking to some about your situation. Also, have you tried Temp agencies? It usually takes a while, but they typically find jobs for people looking fairly quickly. Though you did state you lived in a fairly small town... Also, as for going to college, speak with them, they do have financial assistance to help you pay college. There are always other options, it's just digging to find them that's the hard work. But for the college, speak with local colleges, and ask about grants, financial assistance, etc. I wish you the best of luck. Continue being strong.
