How do you get rid of your period for a night?

Question Posted Thursday August 16 2012, 7:33 pm

Okay I just asked this question like an hour ago but I wasnt clear enough I think. I'm currently on birth control but I'm on the week of sugar pills and I have my period now but I'm seeing my guy friend tonight so I took one of the non-sugar pills because I read that it would stop your period. I took it at like 5:30 maybe and I'm wondering if anyone's tried it and knows if it works or how long it will take.

This does not stop your period. The sugar pills are usually iron supplements and aid during your period. Sometimes if you start a new pack you could skip your period but it is not guaranteed/recommended.
