According to what I have just read, armpit hair is considered to be heavier, longer and coarser hair that develops during puberty as an effect of rising levels of androgens.Facial hair is a secondary characteristic of human males and men start developing it in the later years of puberty and adolescence, and the skin of the head from which head hair grows, contains numerous sabaeceous glands and hair follicles.Even though I cannot actually tell you what the difference between them is,these are the main characteristics I have found of each of them.Hope it helps!:)

Quite simply hair on the scalp has always been there since birth and the other hair is pubic hair which develops during puberty and feel different due to various hormones.
