im 14 years old and i tired to put a tampon in i think i put it in all the way but it hurt like hell. did i do it wrong?? or is it cause i never done it before?? help me please? i tried 3 times and it stings ...

Thanks for inboxing.

The first time you put a tampon in, yes, it will hurt. The most important thing is to RELAX. Stressing causes you to become tense and you will make it worse.

You will know it's all the way in, trust me. As I said, just relax and be calm. Take a deep breath and try it again. My tip would be when you put it in for the first time- put it in and don't leave it in long. Then take it out, wear a pad for a while and then try a tampon again.

It will get easier as time goes on and your body gets used to it :)
