Once you have started your birth control, be careful for the first 7 days. Do NOT miss a pill, otherwise it may take longer for it to take effect. Though pills are only 98-99% effective, it does not hurt to use extra protection such as condoms and or spermicides. After your pills have taken effect (after 7 days of taking them, and continuing to take them) there are no limits to what you can or can not do. Should you ever get an infection that requires antibiotics, be sure to let your doctor know about your birth control, as some if not all, antibiotics can make your birth control stop working.
