I started my birth control pills the sunday after I started my period. . well the next day my period ended. why is this?

that's also why the birth control tells you to start it after your period ends. as far as i know, ending your period by taking birth control early isn't harmful to your health. just be sure to take the birth control every day so you can get your period on the designated date.
