I am a boy and I am 13 years old. I am doing grammar school too. In my class, there is this girl I really like, but I am having troubles getting to know her properly, because we almost never talk ;(.
She is quite popular, and the guys and girls that she is befriend with, I like them as people, but they are not my friends. I always TRY to talk to her, and man up, but when I see her, I melt. Literally.

(homework, new music, friends etc.) Also being confident and sure of yourself helps too! If you're nervous and you make a mistake just laugh it off. Who knows? Maybe she'll laugh along with you. If you get to know her better being around her won't be hard. When you're talking to her, pretend she's your best friend or someone you're really comfortable around. Making good eye contact is also crucial!! I hope this helps as this advice was given to me by multiple people as I'm having the same problem! Good luck!
