My crush: I'm tired of waiting for him to make a move. I want action!
Question Posted Wednesday May 2 2012, 3:50 pm
I need advice on boys. 13/f. So I've like this guy for about 5 months now right? And I know he likes me because my friend overheard him talking his friend about me. So now it feels kinda awkward around him. I get jealous when he hugs his female friends. We barely interact during class and outside of class. I'm tired of waiting for him to make a move. I want action! What should I do???!!!

Just be friendly and keep your distance. He will come your way when he is ready, you don't want to scare him away but coming on too strong. Let him go on his own pace but still show you're interested! So say hello next time you see him, ask him how his weekend was, or did he hear that new song that was out, etc. You're 13 you can't be rushing too fast...you have to take your time! If you want something done sometimes you just have to do it yourself! [ AdviceMistress's advice column | Ask AdviceMistress A Question ]

Don't go in all guns blazing, i.e. ask him out the first time. Just say hello. Ask him how he's been. Ask if he's made plans. Just take part in small talk. This will maybe give him the confidence to ask you out. And if not, then you ask him. Just ask if he wants to come out: make it a group thing, so it's not just you two.
