I'm just wondering how old you two are and if you are old enough to understand what the ramifications of having sex are beyond just the pleasure of it. Did you use protection such as a condom? Do you know how to use a condom properly?
Condoms do not protect you or her from all STDs so you both of you should be checked for STDs. If April does not get her period within the next seven(7) days she should buy a home pregnancy test.
Hopefully she is not pregnant and missing her period is the result of stressing over having sex with or without protection.
In the future make sure before having sex that you have a condom, know how to wear it properly. Most important though is that the sex is totally consensual and that April is not giving into you because you want her to or you will find another girl friend who will give you sex. That is totally wrong man. That is lust and not love. If you love her you will not force her to have sex with you as she bears the full burden of the act should your lust bear a child. If there is pain from her (you know) then have that checked. If you are a minor, tell the girl to tell her mom. std's travel in more ways than sex.
