I feel out of touch myself.

Question Posted Sunday March 18 2012, 12:23 am

Lately I've been thinking a lot about myself and it seems as if I can genuinely feel emotion. I'm straying farther and farther away from my feelings and I don't know why or how to fix it. I can laugh and joke and things but I don't feel genuinely happy. But, I'm not sad, angry, upset, or content either. I just feel slightly apathetic all the time.

If you try to keep busy it might help you stop daydreaming.

If this is how you feel, you need to find something where you have an HOUR to yourself, in silence, completely isolated where you are just alone with your thoughts.

I would suggest doing yoga, or meditating, or breathing exercises in a quiet room. Or if you can make it to the outdoors, this is an even better way to get in touch with yourself.

The key thing about ^^^ is give yourself alone time with NO DISTRACTIONS. leave you phone off/in the car if you go to a park, make it just an hour for YOU & ONLY YOU!!!

good luck with getting back in touch with yourself:) if you have any questions on yoga/meditating it is something I do about ~5/week, and it really is a great way to stay in touch with emotion & all your thoughts. I really really hope you'll give it a try!!:)
