What does it mean?

Question Posted Saturday March 17 2012, 6:54 pm

OKay , so what does it mean when a guy tells you that he's always gonna like you regardless of what happens with the two of you? I'm asking this because there are many different meanings to the word "like" and I wanna know which one he meant.

P.S. we both liked each other more than a friend.

Be honest with him. if you want a relationship with him, spend some time with him. see if you reconnect with him. If you do feel a connection with him and you feel you want him back, go get him gurrrrl! and if it doesn't work out, everything happens for areason. plaenty of fish in the sea.
Good luck!:)

The definition (and context) of like is different for every guy, but I'm going to assume that what he meant was that he was always going to have a bond or attachment to you. This happens sometimes with the guy you had your first kiss with or your first boyfriend. Even after people break up, some still love each other, not necessarily in the same way that had started the relationship, rather in a bond that will always exist (kind of the way you love your family even if you get mad at each other). Anyways, this is just how I interpreted it. So it may not be exactly what he meant. If it really means a lot, you could ask him what he meant. Hope this helped :)
