I want to invite him to play soccer, but I don't want it to be awkward... Would It Be Weird If I Did This?

Question Posted Tuesday March 13 2012, 10:02 pm

There is this guy I want to get to know better and I have never really talked to him before. We have 2 classes together and I'm friends with 2 of his close friends. But I am gathering some friends to play soccer with me and my brother in a week or so and this guy really likes soccer and I wanted to ask him to come. Would this be a little weird? Should I invite him through his friends that I know? Thanks!

I think you should go for it! You could simply bring it up in a conversation with him and maybe invite a friend of his that you are closer to as well to make it less awkward. Good luck :)
