I have an interview for a job in several days (the 15th I believe), and I'm pretty sure I will be drug tested. I am most definitely not a frequent smoker. I've only tried weed four times in my life. Unfortunately, twice was in the past month. What will have been 25 days prior to the test, I drank bizarre weed infused vodka and what will have been a week before the test I took one hit at a party. I'm not sure the hit would really show up in the drug test, as I don't think I did it right. I am a 19 year old female and 5'4 and about 135 pounds. Do you think I will test negative? Does anyone have any detox tips?
solidadvice4teens answered Sunday March 11 2012, 9:05 pm: The only way to successfully pass a drug test is to never have done drugs in the first place. Information I have looked up varies on how long marijuana can stay in the system. Occasional usage usually means 10 days in the system. If it's mixed with another drug...
If this happened nearly a month ago I would think you are fine. I don't have any detox tips for you but I hope you'll see what drugs even if used once or twice can cost you especially if you want this position.
I'm not (nor are any of us)medical practitioners or lab employees so what test they give and what can or will show up still isn't 100% I don't want to steer you wrong. I would do the interview, the test and worry about the result when it happens as I think enough time has past. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]
