8th grade dropout
ok so basically i've been bullied ever since i started middle school. im in guidance ALOT so i have not really been in the classroom. Im getting 40s and 50s. i also sit alone at lunch and talk to no one at school. The guidance consulers and my parents wont let me go to another school or get homeschooled. School is so bad, I've nearly committed suicide at school but backed out. The only option is dropping out but I dont know what to do. No one understands. they tell me to lighten up and suck up. My science teacher said I ruin class for everyone when all I do is take notes. Everyone at my school is pure selfish, even the teachers too.

when your in class try to participate. raise your hand and try to find a sense of humor in yourself. or join a club or a sport. changing schools may help the situation a little bit but probably not much. if you "cant" make friends in the schools where you know people, what makes you think moving to a place where you know no-one will help? just try to find an amusing personality in class.

This is definitely no laughing matter, it seems like you have a problem that can simply be solved by changing schools. I know that your mom refused to let you go anywhere else but screw your mom. You need to sit her down and have a conversation about your life at school. Maybe then she will consider moving you to another school. Until you have that conversation, life at school only gets worse so gather all the courage you have and set her straight

There are going to be bullies everywhere you go. You can't avoid it.
Changing schools is not going to solve your problem it will only lead to another problem. Being home schooled is running away from it and here you are allowing yourself to be isolated. Either way it would be a lose lose situation.
Yes, I also say suck it up. Bullies tend to target the ones they think they can get a reaction from. You are allowing it to bother you, You are giving them what they want. If you ignore it and pay no attention to bullying then sooner or later they will get bored.

Trust me, If you don't give them a reaction then they get no reaction. What fun is it to pick on someone that doesn't give a flying shit? None ;)
The number one thing that really pisses people off believe it or not is just laughing it off and walking away. Laughing shows them they are making an ass out of nobody but themselves. Committing suicide over something so silly is cowardly. Life doesn't end because of others foolishness. You have a life ahead of you, School is of course hard because right now you are young and in middle school they are ALL immature. It's true
Don't allow yourself to drain in self pity, You are someone and you DO matter. You need to pick yourself up and gain self confidence. If you feel that you need to talk to a therapist about your problems then sit down with Mom and Dad and talk to them about it. I've been to many therapist in the years and I won't lie they really do help. They are just one more person to vent too and THEY LISTEN! It's the best part about it. The bullies are nobody but another source that has insecurity issues of their own. People tend to bully others because they aren't happy with themselves. You need to be stronger then this and stop letting other people win their battles. You have yourself and you need to realize that only YOU have the power to change.

That is terrible. Im sorry to hear but you have to do what your parents say. I am home schooled and love it. Its also free and you get all of the materials for free. I would check into it and if you sit your parents down and give then the information and say please consider they might but its up to you to think about it.

That is terrible! hand in there! I'm in 8th grade too but its not as bad as what your school does. maybe get help from another relative you trust or something! get out of that school! DO NOT commit suicide or drop out of 8th grade. your teachers and the students are terrible to you and its not right at all! if its really that bad, than i would get help from the principal or maybe police.
