Like the title says I'm a highschool student blah blah blah... and I was curious if anyone knows of any common strategies that I could practice with on my friendswas problems.
I've always liked helping friends and people who aren't hateful and stupid(as a side note Idk why I added this really )

These will help you train and prepare for a job that works with people. Eg. Therapist, pyschologist etc. If you take any of these courses, you will be able to open up to a variety of things pertaining to counseling, therapy etc. Who knows, maybe after taking classes like these, you may want to do something bigger than a therapist! :)
To practice this sort of stuff with your friends, you have to be interested and aware of their problems. If they say certain things like "My life sucks", or "not having a good day", or "I'm pissed", then this should be your chance to ask what's wrong, and get them to open up to you. Then simply provide very good, well thought out advice.
Side note: I want to get into the psychology field, and I am taking courses, and also help out my friends a lot. My bff has a lot of problems (suicid, depression, love issues etc.) And I am able to help her in every single one. Helping her make decisions, and realize her self-worth.
