I always feel like maybe I'm too young to be in a committed relationship.
Question Posted Thursday February 23 2012, 8:54 am
Well I really need some love advise. My ex has recently popped back into my life for the fourth time we have gone out three different times that only last a month or so each month in different years. Everytime we talk so many unsure feelings come back but everytime we say we should give it another try it never last mainly because of me. I'm only 19 and I always feel like maybe Im too young to be commited. But this time I'm more sure of who I am and so is he. we have gone through our little phases and we aren't really young and lost. So my question is if anyone can help me figure this out somehow, it is really confusing for me and I really do not want to hurt him in anyway or hurting myself

I personally feel that after the secound time you should give it a rest because there is obviously a reason why you guys haven't lasted and broken up before. I say that if you don't want to hurt him be completely certain that you are ready for this relationship. It is not the best thing to be in a relationship if your confused so I say talk about taking baby steps in to the relationship to make sure you are certain your making the right choose in getting back with him. And even if it doesn't work out there is always going to be some left over feelings but it doesn't mean that you should get back together. I hope I helped.

More then likely you 2 are meant to be together. And is 19 too young to start a committed relationship? Absolutely Not. Havnt you ever heard of the term "highschool sweethearts" ? that means theyve been dating since highschool, got married, had kids and are still happy today in most cases. Id say open up your heart a bit, be more accepting to him and the relationship. Goodluck to you -Istalio [ istalio's advice column | Ask istalio A Question ]
