School of Visual Arts VS University of the Arts

Question Posted Thursday February 16 2012, 2:43 pm

So i have been looking into both of these schools so far, and they both have really good programs for illustarion which id like to major in (minor in graphic design if ever possible, which is not in SVA).
Im asking if anyone knows the best school between these two. In the future id like to become a concept artist for video games (thats the main goal). Im not sure which would be the best however.
SVA offers a rigorous course, in NYC, they dont allow double majoring--and i have a slight fear of the subway system and the overall rushed feel

UArts is also widely known in Philly, it is a more urban area som im more comfortable with it. howver, i fear they dont have quite the most vigorous course that i seek.

please keep in mind the tution, my parents dont have much and they want me to go to a community college (i dont like the courses they offer there)
f/16
thanks---Olie
