HELP!!! im fascinated with death
so im 18 years old and within my 18 years i've dealt with a lot of death in my close fam and my extended fam. and just recently i had a extremely close and young cousin pass away in a car accident (he was 22) it has been extremely hard to accept, but vie always been fascinated by death and idk why i like to look up death and people in caskets and faces of death and things such as that but im not goth or emo or suicidal i am typical girl but there is just something about death that is very fascinating but then after i see the dead people i get scared and very sad for them and then when i seen my cousin in his casket i almost passed out and was zoo scared to event near him so i just wanna know am i the only one who is like this am i werid for thinking like this because my boyfriend thinks i am extremely weird and i wanna know if i am or if this is normal

You are not weird for being fascinated by death. To be honest, I know many people (both men and women) who are fascinated by this daily occurrence. It is a mysterious thing, and I find it natural to wish to know more about it. I believe the reason people are so fascinated by it is because of all the mysteries hidden in and beyond it. We all wish to know where it comes from, where we go, and many other questions beyond that. I find it completely natural to be curious as well as interested in it, as well as fear it. Life is so short, and seems to go by in a blink. I think it is more of a thirst for knowledge. Everyone I know who watch as well as get into it is very intelligent. It is truly understandable, at least I feel it is. People who think it is weird to be fascinated by death, are just ones who do not want to understand, or have any desire to. You are not weird for being fascinated, it's just with today's society, everyone who try to expand are considered weird. Hell, I'm considered weird because of my interests as well as hobbies, but that's because a majority of people I know find the "normal" to be in partying and other things that I just can't seem to really get into or enjoy. If you really think about it, there is no real normal, as well as there is no real weird. Just everyone has different ideals. Even if others find it weird, there are just as many who find it normal.
