For quite a long while I have been mopey and unhappy and my head full of suicidal thoughts, and this is making life a sluggish pain for me nowadays and I was wondering if anyone knows of any good tactics to get ones self motivated to do homework and whatnot. Please I do not need a schpeal about "Don't commit suicide it's the wrong way to go" I know this and I guess im lucky that I'm too much of a pussy to do it anyways.
I am a questioner and a heavy thinker (yes thinker not drinker) if that helps any.

This is the mind set you should have. Everyone has their good days and everyone has their bad ones but we take it a day at a time.
Sometimes we have to do things we don't want to do but in the end dude just do the homework to get it done and over with. Once it's done, It's one less of a hassle to worry about. Hard work pays off

Occasionally, when I lose motivation for things, I remind myself of the future that I'm trying to build for myself. Because you don't become successful unless you work hard. You have to be hard on yourself and think about your future.
I also do other things that I enjoy besides working all the time. For you, this could be school clubs, hanging out with friends, etc; basically any stress reliever that would work for you.
And lastly, reward yourself. Being motivated isn't easy. When I set goals, I make them realistic and add in a few rewards in between to refuel that motivation.
I tried to make this kinda short. If you still have any questions or need more help, don't hesitate to ask! I hope this helped and good luck with everything :) [ mannequin24's advice column | Ask mannequin24 A Question ]
